baby boot camp

Evan started baby boot camp yesterday. It's a program to help him learn how to sleep for 12 hours straight at a time. That would be absolutely incredibly magical if he could do that. Right now we are on the 1st of 4 steps, and that is to extend his daytime feedings to every 4 hours. He was previously eating every 3 hours. I thought this would be next to impossible, but actually it was very easy, he barely protested. The idea is that he will be hungrier and therefore eat more at each feeding. Step 2 is to gradually reduce the amount that he eats during the night feedings until eventually they are eliminated all together. This step seems much more difficult. I am nervous about this step.
